Barburrito

I had the nicest dinner yesterday when I went to Manchester, a pork burrito from Barburrito. Seriously delicious, they had better open one in Leeds!! Anyway as I had my designer head on I couldn't help but notice the mural they had next to the counters.



I had to research who had designed it and I found out it was a company called Beyond Communications who have done loads of nice graphics, mainly for instore displays. Heres the original artwork to the piece:



The menu they had was really cool too so I swiped one (originally an A6 concertina folded leaflet, I cut it to make it scannable):

Exhibition Visits

Yesterday I visited both Sheffield and Manchester to find a gallery in which I could host my grid exhibition. First of all I visited the Millennium Galleries in Sheffield.














Next I went to see Manchester Art Gallery.












Last of all I visited Urbis in Manchester.
















After visiting all of these I have decided to host my exhibition in the Craft & Design room at Millennium Galleries, Sheffield.
