As promised yesterday here are the scans from the April 2010 edition of ASOS magazine. You can see the grey, black and neon orange colour scheme I was going on about on the cover. Unfortunately they don't carry this nice colour scheme into either the magazine or the Kaya Scodelario article. The colours are from Kaya's outfit and it looks really good. They've stuck to a couple of fonts, a couple of colours - the text is a bit everywhere but thats what most magazine covers are like. The inner spreads are pretty good for a free magazine. The type is quite organised here whereas the images are bit more collaged. Saying that the pieces with full bleed images are really strong. The way they've used the 'A' on the Amanda Seyfried spread is also really nice. I decided to have a look on google for some other covers and spreads. They all seem to be of a very high standard.
