This grid works to a US Letter size format. I've decided to go with a 12 column grid as I think it will allow me to have the most freedom with column structure. I've also marked a few points to hang content from to break up the text and include maximum white space. I've left space at the top and bottom for markers such as page number, publication name and feature title. I've not worked out the actual layouts yet, thats my next job.
